We have given 2 of the larger Circulon pans with locking lids as gifts. The people they were given to were very pleased with them, so we ordered a smaller one to give for Christmas to one of the people who already has the big one. Arrived promptly in good condition.
Description of Circulon 2 3-Quart Covered Chef's Pan with Locking Colander
Circulon guarantees that food won't stick to this pan, and that it will outlast all other non-sticks. Now those are words to live and cook by! The patented rings provide a hi-lo cooking surface that gives food little to stick to, and the additional coating of non-stick material closes up any loopholes. So go ahead, make a rich cheesey sauce, it will slip right out of the pan. Holes in the lid of this pan also allow you to use it for cooking vegetables, potatoes and other foods in liquid. When the cooking is completed simply tip and drain off the cooking liquid through your choice of small or large holes.The company that invented hard-anodized nonstick cookware, Circulon continues its pursuit of innovation with this 3-quart chef's pan, which features a locking colander lid for quick, simple straining. When you're finished boiling pasta or potatoes, simply flip the pan over and drain the water through the lid's straining holes. As an alternative, the pan is ideal for soups and small stews, stir-fries, and even a variety of one-pot meals.
Circulon 2 cookware features hard-anodized aluminum construction for efficient heat distribution, and is coated with Circulon's Total Hi-Low food release system--an advanced nonstick coating specifically designed to last longer and release foods easier than other nonsticks. In addition, the pan features Circulon's patented Hi-Low series of concentric grooves that resist utensil abrasion, adding to the durability of the nonstick surface. The stainless-steel colander lid is polished to a mirror finish and includes a stay-cool phenolic handle on the top. As an added bonus, both the top and side handle feature slip-resistant synthetic grips for more secure handling.
